About John Roth:

John is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and has served as an Adjunct Professor atUniversity of Central Florida in the Rosen School of Hospitality Management. He has 31 years ofhospitality industry experience and has worked extensively with the incentive, pharmaceutical, corporate and association markets. John previously owned Complete Meeting Concepts, a full-service Conference, Event and Destination Management company for 20 years and was theExecutive Director and management company for the Orlando Chapters of MPI and NACE during their growth years.

As active volunteer in Meeting Professionals International, John served as an MPI InternationalBoard of Directors from 1991-1995, President of the Greater Orlando Chapter in 1991, and was recognized as the Chapter Meeting Professional of the Year in 1988. 

John is currently the Senior Manager of Trade Shows & Events at Visit Orlando where he manages ateam of nine planners and coordinators who support Visit Orlando's mission to promote thedestination and secure visitation. The Trade Shows & Events team design and coordinate over 150 trade shows and events annually to promote Visit Orlando's presence both domestically and globally.
