Topic: Engaging Introverts in Extrovert-Ruled Meetings

Studies show that 30-50% of meeting attendees are introverts, yet our meeting design is most definitely for extroverts.  Designing meetings for every personality, learning style, educational need, generation and ‘vert’ is perplexing. From social butterflies to wall flowers, meetings have all kinds of characters with all kinds of needs and wants.

In her down-to-earth style, Sharon will help you mindfully turn your meetings inside out and upside down to accommodate all the different styles in a truly inclusive way. Uncover engagement techniques that help you create a meeting that will charge and recharge every character!

 Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the differences between introverts and extroverts
  • Explore meeting designs that allow all personality styles to engage and interact
  • Engage with your peers to hear their success stories

About The Speaker:

Sharon Fisher is the CEO/Chief IdeaSparker of Play with a Purpose, a company
devoted to creating more fun, creative and hands-on meetings.  Sharon Fisher is a professional “experience-maker”.  When all her friends were getting real degrees, she chose to major in “whistle blowing” as her father called her degree in Recreation.

The Orlando Chamber of Commerce named her company one of the Top 25 Best Places to Work, proving that her passion for play works.  With clients like Disney, GSK, Feld Entertainment, Microsoft, Met Life, the Daytona Speedway and even the North Carolina Sweet Potato Commission, thinking different is a part of daily life.  Since she believes the back of napkins is still the best place to get new ideas, she spends lots of time brainstorming while drinking wine.

Her quote “In a world full of copies, here’s to the ORIGINALS!” summarizes her business style.  A 2x Guinness World Record Holder, Sharon PROMISES you'll participate, laugh, learn and leave with dozens of fresh ideas from her presentation.
